Bio-Remodelling is said to work as an internal moisturiser by holding up to 1,000 times its weight in water. It reportedly not only hydrates the skin but also combats dullness and makes skin look more luminous and evenly textured. Bio-Remodelling claims to boost the production of collagen and elastin, making the skin appear firmer.

So enough of all the hype, what actually is Bio-Remodelling?

Bio-Remodelling is a standalone product, there is nothing else that can come close in terms of injectable hyaluronic acid gel. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring chemical, which the body uses to retain water in the skin and give a dewy, plumping effect.

Bio-Remodelling provides one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid available. It hydrates and plumps the skin to reduce the effects of ageing and restore youthful vitality.

What are the benefits?

Bio-Remodelling doesn’t just give a boost of hydration, it is a ‘bio-remodeller’.

Bio-Remodelling stimulates collagen and elastin creating elasticity and firmness of the skin.

What is Bio-Remodelling made of?

Bio-Remodelling contains pure, hyaluronic acid. In a 2ml syringe there is a total of 64mg of hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring polymer which the body uses to keep cells hydrated and well supported. Around 50% of the body’s hyaluronic acid is found in the skin.

Hyaluronic Acid acts as the ‘scaffolding’ for your skin’s cells, it also plays a major role in protecting the skin from sun damage.

Levels of hyaluronic acid decrease with age, symptoms include dull, sagging and creping skin.

How does it work?

Bio-Remodelling has a prolonged, stimulating effect on the skin cells. Delivered into the skin via a series of small injections, Bio-Remodelling stimulates the cell receptors to counteract slackness and improve and restore firmness.

Bio-Remodelling contains 50% low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and 50% high molecular weight hyaluronic acid. High and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid each play key roles for the dermis. The high molecular weight hyaluronic acid adds volume to the skin, resulting in a lifting effect. While the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid provides hydration, particularly to the epidermis (the surface layer of the skin).

Bio-Remodelling improves the quality of the skin in both the dermis (thick layer of skin) and epidermis (the thin layer of skin above it), to maximise anti-ageing benefits.

What’s the difference between Bio-Remodelling and Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers and Bio-Remodelling are both made from hyaluronic acid.

However, dermal fillers are designed to stay in a single place, adding instant plumpness and volume to sagging skin. Also it can be used to create a firm shape such as lips or cheekbones.

Bio-Remodelling works differently. It integrates with the skin to trigger the patient’s own, natural, anti-ageing processes. In addition, Bio-Remodelling does not contain synthetic additives, which minimises the risk of side effects.

Both treatments have different, but equally important, benefits.

How many treatments will I need?

New clients will require two treatments which are four weeks apart for the best results. Depending on skin type, the practitioner may recommend a third treatment, usually eight weeks after the second one.

Does Bio-Remodelling work straight away?

You may feel an immediate improvement thanks to the hydrating effect, but it can take a few weeks before the real results of treatment start to be noticed. This is when typically you will see Bio-Remodelling has caused the body to produce its own anti-ageing collagen and elastin.

After a month the skin feels smoother, softer, tighter, and plumper. This is when a second treatment is needed to fully stimulate the collagen and elastin production for the very best results.

How often do I need to have this treatment?

After your initial 2 or 3 treatments we would recommend a maintenance treatment every 6 months to keep reaping the anti-ageing benefits of Bio-Remodelling.

Can I have Bio-Remodelling at the same time as other treatments?

Bio-Remodelling can be used in conjunction with many other anti-ageing treatments.

It is the perfect partner for anti-wrinkle treatments. While anti-wrinkle tackles wrinkles caused by specific muscles, Bio-Remodelling will give an overall radiance boost, complimenting and enhancing the anti-wrinkle.

Dermal fillers can also be used with Bio-Remodelling, to add volume to specific areas, while the Bio-Remodelling provides more general rejuvenation.

Where on the body can it be used?

Bio-Remodelling can be used to improve the signs of ageing on the face, neck, décolletage, chest, stomach, inner arms, hands and knees.

What does it treat?

Bio-Remodelling is particularly effective in treating skin laxity and improving the quality and overall radiance of the skin.
