Over the past 10 years she has completed further studies with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), expanding her knowledge in areas including women’s health, thyroid and adrenal function, gut health, mental health, neuroinflammatory conditions, immune function, cardiometabolic health, and herbal medicine. Dr Waugh’s areas of interest also include men’s hormonal health, providing support for changes that can occur across different stages of life.

With more than 30 years’ experience working as a GP across Townsville and Cairns, Dr Waugh brings a wealth of clinical expertise to her patients. She has a strong interest in supporting individuals through a whole-person approach, recognising the connections between physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
