What to Expect

✅ Mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity for the first few days.
✅ Light scabbing and peeling as the skin heals.
✅ Gradual pigment fading over a series of sessions.

Aftercare Instructions

1. Cleaning & Protection

🧼 Gently cleanse with lukewarm water and mild, fragrance-free soap.
🩹 Pat dry with a clean, soft towel – do not rub.
💧 Apply Bepanthen healing ointment as directed by your clinician.
🔒 If advised, cover with a non-stick dressing or sterile bandage to protect the area.

2. Avoiding Irritants

🚫 No baths, pools, saunas, or prolonged water exposure for 72 hours.
🚫 Avoid cleansers, lotions, serums, and makeup on the area until fully healed.
🚫 Do not rub, scratch, or pick – this may cause scarring or pigment retention.

3. Sun Protection

☀️ Keep the area out of direct sun during healing.
🧴 If sun exposure is unavoidable, apply our Menosun physical barrier cream and reapply regularly.

4. Lifestyle Precautions

🚭 Avoid smoking and alcohol, which can delay healing.
🏃 No strenuous exercise or sweating for the first few days.
❄️ Use ice packs (20 mins on, 20 mins off) to reduce swelling if needed.

5. Follow-Up & Healing

📅 Attend all scheduled follow-up appointments for progress checks and planning future sessions.
⚠️ Contact us immediately if you notice increased redness, swelling, pain, or discharge – these may indicate infection.
