• What are the benefits of a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

  Non-surgical Rhinoplasty can be used to improve the shape of the tip of the nose and bridge where surgery is not desired or following a rhinoplasty to correct residual deformities. Small deformities can easily be corrected in a safe and effective treatment under local anaesthetic in our Face Today Clinic.
  

• Does a Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty require a general anaesthetic or hospitalisation?

  A Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is performed under local anaesthetic at Face Today without the need of hospitalisation.  An local anaesthetic cream is applied to the nose as well as the use of ice and Nitrous Oxide if required to ensure comfort for the patient.
  

• How long is the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty procedure?

  The procedure normally takes less than 30 minutes to an hour to perform, depending on the design requirements.

• What reassurance do I have with the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty?

  The Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty is performed in a safe treatment environment using the best available injectable products. Complicated nose reshaping procedures are normally performed in 2 or 3 sessions to ensure an optimum result.  The Facial artists at Face Today have never had a single patient not be thrilled with their nose design.

• How long is the recovery time?

  Patients can go back to their normal activities straight away, a small amount of  swelling will last 24 to 48 hrs, you may get a small bruise but this is easily covered .  You should avoid pressure on the nose for 5 days, so for example, avoid sleeping on the front or side. Avoid exercise for the first 48 hours.  Minimal bruising may occur which usually resolves in 5 – 7 days. The nose may be tender for 3 – 5 days following treatment.
  

• How long do the results last?

  The results of Non-surgical Rhinoplasty, will last from 6 to 18 months depending on the product used and the individual.

• Is Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty an alternative to a traditional Rhinoplasty?

  A Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty cannot replace a traditional Rhinoplasty if your deformity is significant, however by straightening and correcting undulations of the nose even a larger nose will appear smaller. It is, however, an effective way of correcting deformities of the nose especially if you were born with asymmetry or following a previous Rhinoplasty when you may want to avoid a further revision surgery or that surgery will not fix the remaining problem as it may just need a small tweak for finishing touches.
