COSMETIC MOLE REMOVAL
Quick and effective way to remove unwanted moles from the Face and Body.

Moles are common skin lesions and are basically an overgrowth of the skin pigment cells called melanocytes. They are harmless and range from skin coloured to brown or black, and can vary in size and location. Most moles present in early adulthood and sunlight exposure increases the number of moles over the body.
Moles that are raised from the skin surface can be removed for cosmetic reasons using radiosurgery. This surgical technique doesn’t involve cutting and stitching, as it shaves down the mole until it is smooth with the skin surface. The advantage of this technique is minimal scarring, no bleeding and minimal risk of infection. Moles all over the body are suitable for removal with this technique. We can also remove warts, seborrhoeic keratosis (which are age related benign skin lesions) and skin tags using radiosurgery technology.
The procedure involves numbing the skin with local anaesthetic then gently removing the lesion until it is smooth with the skin. The skin aftercare is really important and involves keeping the treated are moist with ointment to promote healthy skin healing. Although the skin lesion is removed immediately, it can take a number of weeks for the skin to completely heal. If there are any concerns that the skin lesion could be malignant, we would not remove the lesion by this technique. Instead we would refer you back to your local doctor for further assessment.
Cosmetic mole removal is a great way to effectively treat benign skin lesions that you find unsightly, with a low risk of scarring or complication.
